Dragons
Tale
Dragons
Tale is the magazine of the London College of Traditional Acupuncture
and Oriental Medicine (LCTA). It offers a range of informative articles,
research, information and opinions on Oriental medicine and is the only
magazine of its kind to be distributed to all members of the British Acupuncture
Council, Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture Association
for Chartered Physiotherapists; reaching almost all practitioners who
work with acupuncture in the UK.
Dragons Tale aims to provoke thought and inspire practitioners on a wide
range of topical issues. It also provides a snap-shot of life as a Chinese
medicine practitioner to those considering training.
London College of Traditional Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (LCTA)
LCTA
is a leading private college based in North London offering a range of
entry-level and advanced courses in traditional acupuncture and Chinese
medicine. Courses are available for study on a full- or part-time basis,
including weekend study options. This flexibility enables many career-changers
and parents to pursue their dreams within the confines of their existing
daily commitments.
LCTAs courses focus increasingly on clinical practice as knowledge
develops, so that many students in their final year have regular experience
of treating patients under supervision within the Colleges high
street clinic. Clinical practice is backed up by a solid grounding in
both Western and Chinese medicine, including detailed Traditional Chinese
Medicine theory and the study of anatomy.
LCTAs courses were accredited by their respective professional bodies
well in advance of statutory regulation and the College remains at the
forefront of Chinese medicine study. Graduates of accredited courses enter
into practice with automatic professional body membership, a comprehensive
knowledge of their chosen field and the practical knowledge and clinical
experience necessary to hit the ground running.
For more information about LCTA and its courses, please visit www.lcta.com
or call 020 8371 0820 for a copy of the prospectus.
